Most charts appear to fall short in this part of the world and so the Colombian Government created these charts to keep us mariners safe.

If you are heading to the Colombian coast, then dont set off without a copy of these official charts.

They are provided in KAP format which can be imported into chart navigation software such as OpenCPN.

These charts are clear and easy to follow. Being KAP format, you can see your position relative to the chart information which is very reassuring when you’re passaging at night in unfamiliar territory.

Note that charts are split into two folders. Caribbean side and Pacific Side.
