After sailing offshore for a week with no sunshine, our battery power levels were critically low. We had to face the reality that we might run out of power so we took on an emergency boat project and started eating all the ice cream from the freezer incase we had to switch it off! After a big wave broke our bow sprit, we set about repairing it while underway. Not an easy task but we managed it without falling in or dropping any tools! We enjoyed some perfect sailing days under the spinnaker and then disaster strikes and we couldn’t believe we had to say goodbye to our dear friend.
