Description
Since before we bought Indioko, the windows that surround the saloon and galley have been so badly crazed (scratched) that we have never been able to actually see through them. This means we often miss boats passing close by and even customs officials when they arrive at the boat. Sitting inside, it looks like we are surrounded by frosted windows.
To make things more interesting, the fine cracks in the acrylic glass are now so prolific that the windows leak and are beginning to fall out of their frames. Eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed that they are now held in with duct tape which is far from ideal when we are sailing across open ocean with waves crashing over our heads.
We plan to replace all 6 windows in the saloon and galley so we can finally look out at the world.
