We have had some rotten luck with starter batteries. You might recall when they failed in the tuamotous of French Polynesia resulting in us arranging to put them on a supply ship to an atoll and install them before sailing on. we also picked up one for a shack masquerading as a fuel station back in the day.

Now, with the new engines installed and running so well, it’s time we treated them to fresh starter batteries so they can serve us for years to come.
