As you may know, our sails are the original sails that came with the boat and by our best guess that makes them 20 years old.

heavily stretched out and sun damaged, we would love to replace them some day but that is a very expensive process and so we are forced to continue on with repairs and patches to what we have.

On the sail south to New Zealand, our main took a beating and requires a number of repairs around the batten pockets. we hope this wont be too expensive but you never know what the sail loft might find.
