This has been one of those projects that we have been so excited to install.

Indioko has been quietly sinking for the last 15,000 miles but we have been running our bilge pumps and manually bailing to keep ourselves above water.

Regardless of our best efforts, there is usually at least 3 inches of water in our bilge which begins to smell and ultimately damages the material of the hull.

A dry bilge system does exactly what you might think. These special bilge pumps are designed to get every last drop and then run automatically for a few minutes every day to keep the water level down without the need to run the larger, more power hungry bilge pumps.
