We’re sorry to say that cutlass bearings are far less exciting than they sound but they are vital to our ability to travel.

Rather than having anything to do with becoming pirates, these metal and rubber sleeves fit around our propeller shafts and hold them straight and stable so our engines and gearboxes are not damaged when we motor into anchorages.

Following the install of our two Nanni engines last year, our cutlass bearings have been making some uncomfortable grinding noises and are in desperate need of replacement to keep our new engines happy and in good working order.
